Where do you live? I had over 75 varieties in my garden in Bendigo. Not much water there. They were fantastic. I kept them trimmed which kept them flowering and lush. I also think it trimming assisted with their life span. Yep I love salvias too!
Hi @janie I live in Noorat which is near Terang in Southwest Vic It is unusually dry here but we have a bore which is wonderful I keep the salvias trimmed too and they just keep on blooming! I am addicted to them and thought I had lots at 35 but nowhere the number you have. I visited Lambley nursery over the weekend and picked up 2 new ones that are only available from there - salvia ribambelle and salvia Silas Dyson

They grow well here and are very hardy with flowers all through summer and autumn - I just love the variety of colour and form @janie
