Dahlia still has lots of buds on

I thought with dahlias being so big and showy that they would need a lot of attention but this one is just takes care of herself

Is it too late/early to plant these? Haven't grown dahlias but think they're exceptional. On the pack it says start from March onwards but further down the info it says for early starting, start in boxes in April. Can I not just stick it in a pot or something? Lol #dahlia #tubers #firsttimegrowing

Yes pot it up for now and put it out when frosts are finished
