@kathd they certainly can be invasive - though our cultivated ones much less so than the wild versions in the west country. Regular lifting should keep them in check or even using a plastic barrier, as you would for bamboo but less deep

Love Crocosmia but my word how much do they spread!! Was thinning them out today and sometimes it felt like weeding ☺
