Popular in our centres right now: Festuca glauca 'Intense Blue.' A compact, mound-forming, evergreen grass. Its real attraction is its linear blue-grey leaves - almost silvery looking in some lights. In summer, it produces stems of blue-green flower spikelets. This is a great plant for a gravel garden, positioned in a sunny spot or, as seen here, is equally attractive planted alone in a pot.
