Pieris japonica 'Passion'

Pieris japonica ‘Passion’. This bushy, medium-sized shrub has dark green foliage, flushed red in spring, at which time it also produces clusters of urn-shaped flowers in white and dark pink. This low maintenance shrub works in mixed borders as well as making a good patio or container plant. October is a great month to plant shrubs and trees, as the ground is still workable and it gives time for the plants to get their roots out before the next growing season in the spring.
