Pieris japonica 'Valley Valentine'

A small shrub to cheer up the first day following bank holiday. This is Pieris japonica 'Valley Valentine'. A medium-sized ornamental evergreen shrub it has dark green foliage and develops pitcher-shaped dusky red flowers borne in large, drooping panicles. The loveliest Pieris for flower power!

Not seen this one before

Would this be ok in a sunny spot?

@karlamann it likes full sun to partial shade so should be ok if soil is kept moist. It's preferred is dappled shade though. It's a reasonably easy shrub to grow but it does like a sheltered spot.

Thank you @hilliergardencentres my front garden won't necessarily be the best spot then, I may need to rearrange the back garden a bit instead!
