A row of Pinus nigra silhouetted by the low autumn sun at our container tree nursery in Hampshire. This large evergreen tree was first introduced into Britain during the 18th century. It is an extremely hardy tree and can live for over 500 years - some of the first planted, original Victorian trees can still be seen and enjoyed today.
