Large, neatly manicured lawns aren't my jam.🤷‍♀️ As we work towards minimizing the lawn footprint in general, we also let ours "breathe" as much as possible - mowing only when absolutely necessary. @charlotte Very! Our summers are actually TOO hot & humid for a lot of plants, so we have a sort of backwards season here. I do fruit/veg/heat-sensitive stuff from about October through May, then I mostly take summers off of gardening & let the tropical stuff go nuts!
