I have 3 of these now. Last year this was not as pictured but this year it is. I love these flowers. I read that they only last 2 to 3 years so it is good they self seed. Not everywhere though 🤣 @gjones

That is different. Last night I was watering the garden in a cardigan with a coat as well. Warmer tonight. Maxx just came in from sitting under the lilac bush looking for the birds hidden in it. He was there for a long time. 🙀 @kez001uk

Today I could not find him for a while. It was hot and he had found a cool spot under the daylilies. They are very thick this year. All that snow and rain. 🤔 @kez001uk

@hkyfvr looks like that winter weather has helped your Canadian gardens no end! At least it’s good for something 😂 I hope Maxx can’t flatten the day lilies 😜

It definitely helped in some ways. I did lose plants to the cold though. Maxx can tunnel in under the lilies and stay cool. It will not flatten them at all. Our cats have been well hidden in there over the years. I have to search between the many leaves. 😆😻 @kez001uk

@hkyfvr cats are very resourceful! Although rounding them up at the end of the day might be a little challenging the more your garden grows 😅

They are and sneaky too. So far my three know when it is time to come in. They usually come when I call. When we first took Lilly in we had to distract her to catch her and carry her inside. She was used to sleeping outdoors. We have coyotes that come out at night so that was not happening. 🙀 @kez001uk

@hkyfvr it’s great they’re so good at recall! And Lilly now too. I don’t think she’d fare too well against coyotes 😱
