I love this plant, tried it several times but has always reverted back to straight green for me. 💚

Oh no. That is too bad. Mine has stayed variegated for 4 years now. I have pulled it out of my garden in to a container as the earwigs and Japanese beetles devour the leaves if left in the garden. I have it on my deck in full sun. Hope you have better luck if you try again. 🥰 @tinaaune

Thanks @cheriej Yes they definitely are perennials. I have had them a few years now. I had to remove them from the garden and put them in a pot to keep the Japanese beetles away from them. So far so good. 🤞🤞

Thanks Diane. Good luck with the beatles. Here's some plants that might help. Companion planting: Incorporate plants that repel Japanese beetles such as catnip, chives, garlic, odorless marigold, nasturtium, white geranium, rue, or tansy near susceptible plants to help keep the beetles away.

These are nice. I’ve had them in the garden for 8? years now. They do kinda disappear, but they reseed. Sometimes the seeded ones revert to all green, so you have to pull those out. 🌞
