Ha ha eventually @TheGardenWife it was like a twig when I planted it 18 month's ago. Then one of the dogs stood on it just as it wad looking like it might survive. So thought it was dead hence planting the sea daisy 😀 then they multiplied over winter and lo and behold my little Acer reappeared with new vigour 😊😊 just need to protect it from the high winds we get in winter now 😕

I will put my brutal head on tomorrow @juliesgarden 😂
