Finally got round to repotting my poor avocado 😅. It has desperately needed doing for quite some time, but I could never find a pot the right size, till now 😁. Excuse the plastic bag, I haven't got any dishes big enough 🙃🙊 (yet). I've also top-dressed the pot with rocks, pebbles and shells from last year's holiday 😄! #avocado #avocado-bacon #repotting #finally #topdress

A "Bacon avocado" tree I grew from the pit of a store-bought avocado. I realise it will probably never fruit 😔 but I just love that I grew it to this size right from the start. I realise avocado pits are easy to grow, but I started this when I didn't know much about plants at all; so it was an experiment and I'm so happy with how it's turned out. 😁😁😁😁 #avocado-bacon #avocado #from-pit #proud
