I love jade trees :) this is one of my bigger ones and its flowering ! No 🐝 in this picture but there were many of them on the flowers a few weeks back..
@honestgreensco thank you so much for showing me a jade plant in flower 🌺 we also call them Money plants. By the size of the trunk of the plant it must be quite old. Lovely to see 😊🙏🏼
@pixierose no problem! Glad you like my jade plants! I have a few friends from China that say they are collected out there for good luck! Maybe that's why the people in U.K. Call them money plants 😂 I think it's around 25 years old 🤔 not sure though
@honestgreensco yes in Chinese restaurants or take aways you'll nearly always find a Jade plant. The Chinese people consider them lucky 🍀 and make for a prosperous life. Hence the name Money Plant. 😊👍🏼

@gjones this one came from a project site! Can you believe the owner wanted to throw it away! Crazy 😂
Jades are flowering everywhere in LA! At least where they can get some sun ☀️😂 ; super care free plant that is drought tolerant and supposedly brings good luck with wealth/prosperity 🍀😉 not a bad plant to have around 🤙🏽

Yes!! you should have one at your front door 💰🌿
@cyndi ty 😊
@mzambz 😁 I have like 20 of these spread through my home, including the front door 😛 I had a flagstone patio project when I removed a 20’ hedge of 70 year old jades! Got them all at my house 😂
@honestgreensco Wow! 😂😂😂 Very lucky!
How could you thrown any out?! Id have brought them home too. I hurts me so to see "progress" tear up trees and plants. 😭 I'm such a tree hugger.
That’s beautiful 💚 the tiny flowers are so delicate looking 😍
@mzambz when they told me they were good luck I took all I could fit in my dump truck to my house 😆 literally didn’t have room for the other truck load in my garden 😁 but I took what I could haha
@lesliecole49 oh I’m the same way! Tree removals and landscape demolitions are tough! I try to save everything I can though by breaking up materials and plants. All my flagstone and stone at my house is from past demos 😁 many of the plants too. Now with the farm my goal is to not throw any plants, that can be resold, anymore. Before I had no room in my garden, but now pretty much unlimited room lol.
@kez001uk 😊 glad you enjoyed
Good for you. I see that, following two of your postings. I don't get as many plants, but I do get a bunch of construction castoffs that can use or give to someone who can. I'm well known among the contractors as a dumpster diver. Lol
