I can taste them already 🤤 they look so cute when they’re small 😛

Two pomegranate trees side by side forming one mass. They are very productive and now in late august are fruiting, hopefully with the first few ripening in the next months. Great drought tolerant fruit tree that gives lots of beautiful orange/red flowers. In La puente, CA. #trees #pomegranate #gyo #food #fruit #growyourown #summer #fruittree #garden #gardening #gardener #nature #happy #plants #entrepreneur #landscaper #naturephotography #landscaping #la #losangeles #cali #california #lapuente
Hadn’t ever seen the flowers before but 😍 be worth growing just for those 😋
@kez001uk omg the flowers are beautiful! I took some shots of some but couldnt get good light or shots imo, but when I get some nice photos of someni will post 🙂
@columbiariver yes they are friends 🙂 probably share nutrients and water at this point haha I think they are like 60 or 70 years old
@honestgreensco I look forward to seeing them 😋

Pair of Pomegranate Fruits 😛 my tree is loaded with them, i can't wait to eat some of these bad boys 👌 #granadas #pomegranates #gyo #growyourown #food #fruit #summer #garden #gardening #gardener #farmer #nature #happy #plants #entrepreneur #landscaper #naturephotography #landscaping #la #losangeles #cali #california #altadena
Wish mine looked like this! Starts out loaded, then they slowly fall off and I'm left with maybe 4 that might make it😔
@Cindy76 that might be a nutrional deficiency if they are falling off too soon, do you fertilize them
I haven't fertilized😒 First time with pomegranates.
@Cindy76 mulch the base(not 3" around trunk) and give it some general fertilizer that has some zinc mag and iron and it should improve, feuits should all stay on their! Persimmon tree is one of the trees i yave that drops many of its feuit to prioritize larger fruits, but i think that is a trait inherited from human grafting
Ok... I'm going to try it! Thanks! We just bought this house 4 years ago, so I'm not sure how old it is and if that matters. The few that I have gotten were small and not very good. Maybe I can still turn it around.... 👍
@Cindy76 if you check my yourube you will see my garden..the only tree there was a orange tree is horrible shape. Took 5 years of good care before the fruit was better then the store...just love it and talk to it and it will produce nice fruit 😁
Oh I talk to it all right! "what are you doing?! Why are all the blooms on the ground?! Come on!" haha.... I also have scuppernongs that the birds are eating, maybe they are knocking all my pomegranates off. I'll check it out. What zone are you in?
@Cindy76 it will take some time 😁 my home in altadena is zone is 10a and my farm is 8b
My Pomegranate tree is still stocked with fruit 😋 I have ate & made like 100 into juice, but i cant eat them all haha. I will give some to my ducks & quail tomorrow, and keep at it 😉 #pomegranatetree #Pomegranate #granadas #droughttolerant #landscapedesign #garden #gardening #landscaping #landscaper #gardener #altadena #california #cali #la #permaculture #plants #organic #nature #gyofood #gyo #food

Wow that's wonderful 😊I can't imagine, I've never even seen a pomegranate tree! Good job 👏
@KariSamuel haha i been giving them to my ducks they love em 🤣
