Rosa (Hybrid Tea)

This rose really woke me up with its smell ! Nothing like those old school roses that you can literally smell standing in front of..idk what it is because I’m only 24, but I feel like the big box store roses were all made to be less smelly. All these old homes in LA have sometimes 50 year old roses and there really is nothing like them anymore. I’ve actually started taking home the trimmings because I can’t find any that smell this good except for high prices at the big wholesale nurseries 🤣

@honestgreensco Absolutely right, why growers create roses 🌹 without perfume I never get?! The perfume is what you look (smell) for. It’s so disappointing when you see a fabulous rose 🌹 and go in to smell it and nothing! What’s the point? I really don’t get it, nothing beats the aroma of roses. 🤔🙏🏼😊👍🏼

@pixierose 😂 I have had that happen to me so many times that’s actually why I mentioned that haha I smelled a huge rose and barely any scent and I went over to that yellow one and it was like bam 💥
