Thanks Jayne I got this last year as a bare root it grew well then I lifted it and turned it upside down In a pot in the greenhouse and left it over winter ❄️ this spring I sawed it in half and potted the two halves up and blow me down they did this !! They are in a combination of John innes 3 and multi purpose and seem to be very happy 😊 😂guessed it was Q .. hopefully yours will get the hang of life eventually 🤞 @jaynehynesburton

Fabulous and thanks for info I over wintered mine in a pot last year in summerhouse wrapped up and mulched but need to dig them out this year so will do what you did this year 👍

Oh you're welcome Keely I had not managed to overwinter successfully before so adopted this do or die method and it worked will do the same again this year .. greenhouse door was kept shut with the window just slightly open by the way 🙂. @Keely

You must Carol 🙂 literally just lifted this one and turned it upside down on a pot ... root up and left over winter, then split and potted up in March previously I lifted and put them in slightly dry compost .. so harsh treatment is the way forward 👍 thanks Nick 🙂 @carolgs @broughgardens
