I grow this for the foliage and the flower but also because it attracts lacewings and hover flies which in turn munch all the aphids on my Roses 🌹 👍 #crittercontrol

This is one I was considering for the border - now it's a definite! Thank you! Do you have it planted beside your roses? I was going to plant thyme around the base of mine, is this better?

Discovered this a few years ago by chance ... as soon as the flowers came out I noticed that the Rose was clearing of Aphids and the fennel was buzzing with life 👍 looked it up and realised what was going on ... doesn't need to be near the Roses just in the vicinity Rebecca ... the seed heads look gorgeous with frost on in the winter too .. it can be a little keen to self seed but not as much as the green one and easily pulled out 👍 @beckers1974 @nessas @awomanonabike

Thanks, Sam! I've noticed a load of aphids already this year. Slimers seem to have taken the hint though! 😂
