Not my garden but my dads in Wales .. this tree was absolutely covered in silver lichen .. for a moment it looked like an Olive. Sadly it means the tree is on the way out but what a way to go 💚

Not always Leslie lichen tends to set up Home on dead or weakened branches or on a very shady side, so normally a prune of dead and damaged wood and opening up the crown to improve air flow will help, this tree sadly didn’t get this tlc 😟 @lesliecole49
