Wishing you all a very happy Sunday. This #fuschia is still putting out buds and was enjoying the sun yesterday afternoon. #ajoct22 #macro

I’ve got this #fuchsia listed as tender but I’m not sure it is? 🤔 #ajaug22

I find identifying Fuchsias harder than anything else, there are literally hundreds that are virtually identical, and that doesn't counter in that they all change colour with how much light they get??!! My gut says this would, at the very least, be half-hardy. All my halfies returned here

Thanks anyway Jane, historically I’ve tended to treat them as the most tender option by overwintering them in the coldframe. Now I’ve got more plants I’m going to have to oust some…😂 @pelly

It’s a minefield isn’t it?! Thanks Jason. I’m just trying to see what I can maybe not put in the cold frame for overwintering this year. My ever expanding plant collection means something will have to stay outside this year. I might try and put it a very protected location and take a chance if I can’t squeeze it in 🤞 @hebelover

Had a good look through a few sites, as there are a few things about this one that stand out...did you pick this as a namesake plant?? Have a look on here/Google and see what you think, but I think it's most likely Fuchsia 'Angela' a hardy one 👍

Well blow me down!! Yes, I do believe you’re right Jason. Thank you! What a co-incidence. I don’t recall this was a named variety. Bit like me then in more than one respect, I’m a hardy old boot too 😂 That’s a bit more space freed up in the coldframe😀👍🏼 @hebelover

They certainly add a pop of colour to the garden 💕, still got a couple in flower here, though had to cut others back as they needed to be moved
