It’s not one I’d come across before either Julie. It grows to around 3ft tall and looks like a snapdragon. This one is already disobedient in that it’s already about 4.5 foot tall! @juliesgarden

Ahh...I knew there had to be a reason. I was curious about the name so looked it up Graham. It said they can be invasive. I didn’t think that quite matched the “obedient” name!! 😂 @gardengimp

@italydiva I didn't know they could be invasive 😮 I've got a variegated leaved one but could do with more of it, its hard to get hold of. Hope it lives up to its reputation! But with some things in gardening I have to be careful what I wish for 😄

It’s funny isn’t it Graham, things don’t always follow what we are led to believe. Some sources mention it, others don’t! Just a waiting game I guess 🤷‍♀️ Mine’s not variegated but that does sound lovely 😊 @gardengimp

@italydiva maybe it gets thuggish in the prairies? I have 'Vivid' as well in a fairly dry spot, but our wet weather probably averages out the conditions. All part of the fun! 😃
