Just realised I haven’t listed my #viburnum-tinus-eve-price #viburnum I’m not sure how I managed to overlook it seeing as it’s one of my larger shrubs! Nice to see the #buds forming 😊
Thank you Richard 😊 I am interested in your comment about Virburnum beetle. About 5 years ago, part of this viburnum lost all its leaves and died completely. I was expecting the whole shrub to die but about a third of it has continued and is thriving. When I came to raise the canopy and remove the dead parts, the wood was completely rotten. Do you think this would fit with viburnum beetle or would it be something else do you think? 🤔 @richard.spicer.7906
It was a shame as I’d had so many comments from people saying they had never seen such a healthy example. Fortunately the remaining part appears very healthy 😊 @richard.spicer.7906
Hey Angela 😊👋🏼 sorry, busy few days so only just getting back to you. It doesn’t sound like viburnum beetle as you would notice it in the leaves, they would be riddled with holes and notches around the etches. It usually survives such attacks - even if severe - but it just looks terrible 😣. Potentially yours might have had another problem but fortunately it sounds as though it has made a good recovery
Hi Richard...honestly, no need to apologise. 😊 I wonder what it was? Oh well, just very relieved that the remaining third seems happy enough. Thank you so much for your feedback! 👍 @richard.spicer.7906

So pretty, even in bud 💞💞💞
Beautiful picture 🥰
Wow! So many super pink buds 💕💕💕
Lovely! Looks much healthier than the one we gave it work, riddled with Viburnum beetle 😖 - the flowers on yours look ready to burst!
I was quite surprised to see these lovely pink buds. 💞💞💞 @anges @debs69 @midnightgardener
