Made the mistake of buying a house with a river at the bottom of the garden. Constantly floods and also contains arsenic from an old mill nearby.

@gjones We first saw it at Glendurgan NT garden in Falmouth and hunted high and low for one. Theirs died from frost so I didn’t think we stood a chance but lo and behold, I’m well chuffed!

So pleased that it’s actually flowering for the 2nd year running. Proud of this plant, my pride and joy, 6ft tall this year 😀

Loving how well this Amicia is doing this year. It’s already flowering, should be October time.

Loving my latest find, an Amicia with really pretty pink bracts. Didn’t expect it to do so well in my garden.

Has anyone got an Amicia Zygomeris? Saw one yesterday in a NT garden and would love one. Pea family apparently but is it easy-ish to grow?
