PLEASE HELP! This plant is in new succulent soil after being repotted. It has no roots due to previous root rot. It hasn’t grown new roots and it’s been at least 3-4 months since I noticed it was dying. The leaves have been curling up and falling off from the bottom up. I water it every two weeks. HOW DO I SAVE IT!? Please help! #needhelp #aloe-ciliaris #dyingplant #whatdoido #aloe #recycledplastic #recycleditems
@savannahssucculentgarden nope “/ . I could be off bc it was a few days ago when I checked. I have not .... I didn’t know that existed until now! I’ll give it a shot. Any specific kind u recommend?
Any brand should be fine. It comes in powder and liquid form, but I've only ever used powder. Make sure the stem is calloused, not freshly cut. Moisten the stem with a damp cloth or paper towel, then dip it in the rooting powder. It's important to plant the stem immediately after you apply it. Make the soil lightly moist, then let it dry out before you water again. I've had great luck with rooting hormone, so I think it could really help you here. Good luck! 👍

How much stem do you have left at the bottom?
Hmmm inch and a half give or take. I had to trim about 1/8 of it off due to rot.
And it hasn't rooted? Hmm....have you considered using a little rooting hormone?
