Hi. Can someone tell me what to do when a plant does not exist in the encyclopaedia. I added the name and saved it. I can’t edit it now. What was I supposed to do.

@teamgardentags can you help? I uploaded this photo for a gymea lily. I could not find a match in the encyclopaedia so I added it. But I don't know all the plant details and I can not edit the details now. What should I do?

Once you add a plant to the plant encyclopaedia you can’t make any further changes. Only the GT plant team can. I see you didn’t add the Latin name Doryanthes excelsa. @Yollymac

So what do you do if you add a plant that does not exist in the library. Do you enter all the details @brightcolours

You add as much as you feel comfortable adding. Or put a link to a web site so the plant team has a starting point.

So are you saying you prefer to create a new listing and have the other one deleted? That’s possible, that way you can add all the info you would like and save it when you are done.
