Help me identify this plant- it may be part of the dipladenia family? Large trumpet flowers very unusual colour. Does not like winter months.

Dipladenia /Mandevillea I think ? ---I have 3 which are quite prolific

Mine have "travelled" under the wall of my side garden and are happily giving me colour in the FRONT @janmartin

The only thing that puts me off that theory is that it does not have the climbing ability of the Mandevillea - the growth stems need to be tied into place. I have it growing in a pot which could be the problem.

Post a pic of the overall plant perhaps? @whitesusan would that help you?

It could be an allamanda

Could be a "Pandorea Jasminoides" --- I have searched through all my tags which I keep when I buy a plant --- this fits the description!!

Take it out of its pot and watch it GROW!!

@janmartin confirmed --Pandorea Jasminoides-- check mine out @whitesusan

@bel @tessafox-veling - look familiar?? 😊

Yes it does @brightcolours! !!

Is it an #allamanda ? www.australianplantsonline.com.au/allamanda-violacia.html
Loving the hot summer weather
Is this a climber??
@carol13450 - it needs to be supported but is a strong grower. I have it restrained in a pot at the moment.
Thanks I'd like to cover a dividing fence but it sounds too rampant. I'll have access to my side only for cutting. Might make for angry neighbours. 😟👍🏻
