This Rose was the only flower/plant in the garden when we moved in 3yrs ago on the 1st July not looking as healthy as it does today thanks to feeding with banana skins I believe 😊 Hope you all have a super day 🤗

Morning ladies I just cut up the skins in small pieces and bury them about inch around base of the Rose, I let them go a day till they start to turn brown/black before doing this @fuschia @Jane 😀

Yes it was me Jane my daughter-in-law told me about the banana skins, they are packed full of nutrients/fertiliser, I chop up the skins and just bury them slightly under the earth at the base of the plants, I use it on all my flowering plants and veg, they are all looking so good this year, the skins also deter the aphids away too so i've read on google! Have a go Jane and see what you think! Also read the other day to put a chopped up cupful of bananas skins in gallon of water in a watering can
