Where are these shade or sun?? I've just gotten my first one their so popular and they look real good. Mine shoot up a spike real fast after getting it with pretty little purple flowers they died I cut down the spike now nothing. Maybe they have a slow flowering cycle. Any info would help!! Yours is a beauty@terrimclaughlin

Hi Terrimclaughlin. I have this one planted to catch partial sun but more shade. Always near a larger object to protect it from direct sun light, like the the house pear tree ect. Note: wild animals love to eat hosta's so especially my first year I had to throw down some environmentally safe repellent for all kinds of "critters". They ate ALL my hosta's and I have quite a few in my yard.

Ps: after the repellent I was all set the next few years

Ps if this is the first year your pretty lucky to have gotten a shoot. It must really love where you've placed it👍 watch it year to year the sprout season gets a bit longer and stronger and may cycle twice. If not I like it for its foliage mainly, to cover space, the flowers are definitely a plus.
