Love Gerberas, I bought 3 at the end of last summer very cheap in homebase, they've survived the winter (in the greenhouse) and are now flowering again, happy me 😀

@sieveheadsarah yes we love them too. First year of gardening for us and just stumbled across it in the Range. Had to bring it home! Is it suitable for planting out in the garden or should it remain potted?

I keep mine in pots so that I can bring them in in the winter, I looked up online about caring for it, it's worth looking as they do seem to be a bit fussy, they like to be in the sun and they're also great as cut flowers as they last for ages.

I've overwintered 2 GERBERA'S in pots Jamie ......easy to move around where you need colour and also to move into the greenhouse for the winter months :)

Forgive the ignorance, but what do you mean by overwintered? @flof1952

It means protecting your plant successfully over the winter months from the cold etc Jamie :)
