My Aunt said the Botanical gardens in Wichita is worth seeing. She spent half a day there recently and loved it. It apparently has many different kinds of gardens to see including.a Chinese garden. She also recommends the Wichita zoo. They have 6 new elephants, if you like zoos you should check it out. Also the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas ( www.cosmo.org) is well worth a trip. I have been there many years ago and the web site looks like they added a lot since then. All you need to cont.
Continued: is on the website. She says Boot hill is a waste of time, but Fort Scott has a lot of army history. Hutchingson is between Wichita and my dads home town of Sterling. I have family in Hutchinson. You can also Google the two wildlife places, they both have web sites if you just want to see what is there. Hope this helps.🤗
