28/4/2020 Tons of this in flower in a few gardens surrounding mine. Absolutely love the honey fragrance.

Pretty - they don’t seem to smell of honey near me ....🤔

Maybe they smell different to some people? 🤔 They've always smelt of honey to me & I just love it @sharonhayden

I even went and checked the smell today - nothing like honey- maybe the ones in St. Helens are sweeter! My honey spurge which is in flower smells like honey!!

I'll have to try to find some locally produced honey! I wonder if most commercial honey bee hives are often very near hawthorn trees?🤔 Now there's a thing, a honey spurge that smells like honey 😉 Seriously though, I've got a honey bush that's just flowering for the first time & I'm wondering if it will actually smell like honey too? 🤔🍯 Watch this space 😁 @sharonhayden

Maybe your right - it’s probable that bees get their nectar from hawthorns as there’s so many in our countryside - I’ll tag you in my honey spurge!
