Love these! Such quirky plants (and as an aside...for some reason I always read/say cardoon in a Scottish accent 😬😆🙈) I didn't know they are edible but they look like artichokes...I would guess they're related...🤔

@rachelbrooks I grew for something a bit different & quirky. It is a bit of a monster now, bullying everything around it! Definitely related & edible. I always think of Fraser from Dad's Army.......we're doomed! Lol!😀

Hi Julie, yes it does have some, but not as bad as a honeysuckle I have which they've ruined, as did greenfly on my tree lupin 😬 @vec
