It's basically the dead flower heads. Maybe a week say after they've finished, when dry, just pull them off and open them up & if pollination has occurred, you'll see the seeds 🤞 @kez001uk

@jeatacake had tiger stripes last year but didn’t now they would come back 😧 I have sooo much to learn 😆

I daren't risk these outside in winter, hence being in a tub. There's a few in there which haven't flowered yet, but hopefully all of mine & yours will thrive for the rest of the summer 🙏 @kez001uk

@jeatacake they’ll at least make use of my greenhouse this winter. Glad you posted this, more I can save rather than re-buying 😁

If I have enough room in there, it's a case of "If in doubt, bring them in", for anything the slightest bit tender, until they get too big that is! @kez001uk 👍

Might as well make full use of it. Things like half hardy fuchsias & geraniums usually survive OK in there all winter, even without heating 👍 @kez001uk

@jeatacake sadly that evil winter we had took out my greenhouse one night so lost everything I had in it except for a few seeds and fuchsias that made it through. But it’s replaced now and will be overwintering whatever I can this year, just in case 😅
