I haven't tried it. It smells strange though. I only bought them for the seeds, as they make incredible & spectacular climbing plants here, or in any tropical/semi-tropical climate @sushiwaitress
I didn't really fancy trying them if I'm honest Rula. I only bought them for the seeds, for the princely sum of 10 Thai Baht for all 3. I'd never seen them before either, but saw them here a few years ago growing in a garden and about 5+ metres tall. There was a fallen (and rotten) fruit from which I extracted seeds, which I managed to grow. I was just awestruck by the plant itself and its habit having seen it in its natural state. @sabbanrula
I don’t blame you Jeff. Sometimes I catch myself growing things I don’t particularly eat or like because I simply want to try growing it. That sounds like a great plant to be 5 meters tall 😄😄
I know exactly what you mean Rula. The challenge & excitement of growing something new 😊 These just amazed me when I saw them growing. I can send you a few seeds if you'd like to try them too? @sabbanrula
That’s very generous of you Jeff. They are very interesting. You made me want to go on vacation in Thailand so I can see and experience all these different plants 😍
It's a pleasure Rula. Thry may like your climate with a little winter protection. I can highly recommend a holiday in Thailand. It is by far my favourite holiday destination with the ability to grow so many tropical species. Lots to see and do. It's a very varied country. It's cheap (compared to the west) and with very friendly people too ☺ @sabbanrula
I’m sure our weather can accommodate most tropical plants with a bit of extra care. Thailand sounds like a great place indeed. I’ll have to look it up and see for myself if it’s easy to travel there 😄 for Jordanians
It should be fine as you are half way there already (from the UK). I always fly there with Qatar, Emirates or Etihad. Maybe Jordanian Airways fly direct to Bangkok? @sabbanrula 🤔
Lampang, Thailand 23/11/2019. Gac part 1
wow! I have never seen this fruit before! What did it taste like?

This is a new one for me 😍 looks like persimmon but with tiny thorns 😁 Is it tasty?

Yes and we have emirates airlines offices. The visa is easy. I just checked the requirements. Seems very easy, compared to the US or Europe
