Aster x frikartii 'Mönch'

The purple flower is Monch. The other three are from seeds I sowed this year which were called Rose Asters. They were the tiniest seedlings and I eventually lost patience with them and put them in a border. They didn’t get much bigger but they’ve all got these lovely flowers.

I moved this to the front garden where it is much happier and gives a welcome blast of colour 💜

This was a slip which came away when I was tidying up the mummy plant last year. I plonked it in the raised bed. As Brucie would say,” hasn’t it done well!”

Starting to bloom with loads of buds to open. First year for these and they have not disappointed.
