Life cycle of a Cirsium flower ❤️

carolgs
Mine didn't return this year 😞

joanboston
Does it seed everywhere?

jendren
That’s a pity Carol. @carolgs

jendren
I haven’t had a problem with it Joan. I wouldn’t mind a few more so pity it doesn’t @joanboston

joanboston
Thanks I’ve just planted one in a garden I have made at church so wondered if it would spread far

jendren
It gets bigger each year and I’ve read you can divide them I hope it doesn’t become a nuisance @joanboston

joanboston
It will be fine I’m sure

The cirsium I bought last year seems to be preparing its flowers. I didn’t realise they started like this - at ground level. 🌸
