First of the plants from the mixed statice seeds sown earlier this year. I love this-it takes me back to the 80s when dried flowers were all the rage. I’ve a nice yellow one getting ready to open in the front.

Awww 😍 I had a lilac one and it went so well with other plants 👍 But the beast from the east killed it off. I saw one in Wilko earlier this year but it was a different variety with larger leaves. Mine had small leaves almost like rocket salad.

These have very large leaves Urszula. But they are doing well. You should try some seeds next spring. @ublaszko

I might try if I can get them as plug plants. My seed grown plants are a bit of hit and miss 😅

I want to grow some of those next year. I remember when I was a little girl and we had a large mirror in our living room which had a small type of window box underneath it. I remember going with my mother to buy dried flowers to put in it.
