The coleus I grew from seed this year are doing just what I planned. Brightening up a border. ❤️💚

Much bigger than mine and not a nibble out of them 🐌

Not yet Deborah 🙏 @DeborahBanks

Love these Nicola @jendren unfortunately so do the slugs 🐌 so I gave up on them 😘

I have one of these, I love the variegation. Such impact 😊

Their lovely Nicola way ahead of mine I only ended up with four plants for all my efforts

Aw well. Four better than none which is what I got last year Alan @alan1111

None, that is disappointing I only had a few last year one of these years I'll get it right 😉 @jendren

These have done very well this year. Am delighted. I got the idea to use them as foliage when on holiday in Canada a couple of years ago. ❤️💚

I love Coleus...so much beauty in the contrasting colours

We have a Palm House here in Belfast with a fabulous coleus display they grow @italydiva

That would definitely be worth a visit 😊

Potted on my Coleus seedlings today. So pleased they have grown this year. Last years were a disaster.

I have some seeds .. is it too late to try them now?

As you sow them inside I’d say give them a go. They are v slow to grow though. I know they are usually houseplants in UK but I saw them used for foliage in beds in Canada and liked the idea. @Mary200631

Make sure they are planted in a gritty compost they don't like wet roots they will rot 😄 lovely foliage plants

Thanks Keely. Good advice. @Mary200631

@jendren @Keely thank you...can o use perlite or vermiculite as I’m out of grit currently

Perlite would be better as vermiculite retains moisture @Mary200631 @Keely

Only two seeds germanated for me this year 😕

They seem to be very fussy! @alan1111
I can’t get over the size of these plants #gyo #grownfromseed
Wow, it’s massive, must like being inside.
They definitely do Sarah. The ones outside are smaller @sieveheadsarah
That’s lovely 😊
