Bought this last Spring and it sulked all summer in a border. Looked pathetic and I was going to bin it. But I plonked it in the raised bed in Autumn and it seems to like it there 🌸. But it has to move to make way for my 48 unwanted Beetroot plants soon.

I need that exact plant lool

You must have missed my post a few days ago ranting about Thompson & Morgan’s service. I ordered them in March and they weren’t due to be sent till 30 April. So when my seed grown ones turned out ok I cancelled the order on 10 April. But I still got them. Still they will do as a later crop -as they are minuscule 🔬 @charlotte @jamescallifer

Oh 😲 I use the leaves as salad leaves when they are small. Roasted beetroot is delicious. I've also made beetroot crisps. Soup is yum.

@cyndi we prefer it pickled. I tried a relish and a roasted recipe last year but we weren’t fans. Must check for more recipes
