I don't know how it happened, i never even imagined that it would sprout a seedling, but this monster of an opal basil started just five months ago as a single seed. It has since been harvested over a dozen times for cooking, it's been cut all the way back to avoid bolting half as many times, and even went through a crisis period of near-death disease and disaster. Now it's literally uncontrollable and amazingly gorgeous, as well as wonderfully tasty!! Began as a tiny plant, 100% organic
