I am losing one of two a day, which is not bad considering... It sucks to get them so far, and then they keel over for no reason. I am hoping I can do your strategy in the fall with sowing direct. @cyndi

This amaranth variety can get pretty tall and the leaves get darker as they age. I think my shortest was 3’ and tallest was 5-6’. Good backdrop in the herb and butterfly 🦋 garden. Add the young leaves to your salad. If you let it go to seeds, you can probably have enough to grow sprouts. I have set to get into that but it’s on my to do list.
