My 5 yr old and I spend a lot of time outdoors in our garden oasis. I love flowers, cottage garden style! #GTseedfairy 💕USDA Zone 8b; Sunset Zone 7

Okay... so this is the reason people plant this? Lol. I don’t get it. I don’t go outside in the winter to see this, and it’s a monster in the summer. What to do?

I have two red #dogwood planted, in honor or 2 of my dogs that passed. But I also love the red against the pure white snow!

@franshinegee can dogwood be a bush? I thought dogwood is a tree?

Oooooh... So not really a flowering plant, just an interesting winter focus? @columbiariver

@columbiariver Well now I know not to be so hard on the little plants... I had different expectations. Lol

@columbiariver I'll try that! After what I did to my lilacs the first year, I've left everything alone and waited. I didn't realize cutting some bushes could be bad...

@Sussanah I wish!! I've given this plant nearly two years to bloom... Looks like I might get to see some sort of tiny bloom soon... But pretty sure it's not hydrangea. They're one of my favorites. Thank you!
