Ok, what are the cold and wet #s for? Do they need a cold period to germinate?
@lesliecole49 I read that coneflowers need to be stratified to germinate. I've found the cold /wet stratification in a coffee filter put in a ziplock in the fridge works well. I'll see if I can find the article about stratification for you.

I'm wondering if I got it wrong now. Some coneflowers are called rudbeckia and some are echinacea? @cyndi @kimguy what do you think? Stratify or not?
@cyndi good find. I need to change the encyclopedia link. That's funny. This is the only one I labeled wrong. That's why I confused myself. Thanks for the link Cyndi!
Square Did you get these seeds from me?Are they yellow? @jennlamaye
Yes @kimguy did I link these correctly?
Sorry Kim, my eyes are starting to cross from too much info. Lol. Not a great idea to try to organize while you're sick, but I've been going crazy indoors. @kimguy You gave me several coneflowers but I didn't know the difference between rudbeckia and echinacea...
@jennlamaye, I apologize. I barely caught your post and was so fatigued that I wasn't making much sense.my fil is in the hospital since monday, doesn't help my Health much at all, it's been hectic. The cones yellow, red and tomato soup are echinacea. Fortunately @cyndi was there to rescue you! When I collected these seeds I still didn't know what I was doing (will I ever?) so I see a lot of junk. The actual seeds are the tiny, pointy ones. If you don't have enough let me know.
@kimguy no apology necessary 💕 Sorry to hear about your family, and I hope everything settles down and you get some rest. 💕 (By the way, we're all learning here! 😉)
