Another #swamphibiscus #seedling from the seeds @terrimclaughlin sent me. I had to trim down most of the other seedlings because they were getting too tall and thin. Repotted today so they should be happier with more room to grow. #grownfromseed
@jennelamaye that’s so great that you’ll have those hybiscus!!! I’m curious to see how they grow there. They do grow tall but their a strong plant. Here they’ll let you know if they need water but at your house it’s going to be different weather. Here they bloom in fall but are very full and green. Leaves resemble marijuana leaves!! Had the police stop 2 yrs. ago after seeing one I had bear the street lol👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗😊😊
@jennelamaye In my profile, pretty far back there should b a picture of a grown plant along my back fence. Their annual here but they drop a lot of seeds. After awhile you’ll spot them coming up next spring. You could probably put them in the ground now if you wanted but you know your weather just remember they like the sun!!!
@terrimclaughlin I might try putting some out next week then, thank you!

Fill as many small pots as you’d like with potting soil up to the rim of each pot. Set the pots in a warm location where they will receive light but minimal direct sunlight.
Plant two to three seeds in the center of each pot 1/4 of an inch deep and cover over lightly. Water the pot lightly with a spray bottle to moisten the soil.
Keep the soil damp without soaking it for two weeks as the seeds germinate. Once the seeds have sprouted water them only when the soil is dry to the touch.

Continue to water the seedlings and care for them until they have grown their third set of true leaves. Either transplant the seedlings outdoors or move them to one-gallon containers and carry on watering as the plants grow.
#jennplanted171205 @PunkyKy wish me luck! 💕
Luck....i hope they sprout for you! Mine didn't sprout. 😢
@PunkyKy I’m quite impatient... so often I give up on seeds germinating before they’re expected to germinate. So hard to wait!!!
I'm so impatient too!...lol
