Here's a picture of the full plant #purpleflash #purpleflashpepper

We sell these where I work and we absolutely love them! Great choice!

Thanks @tommy.1542 , I thought it was so unique

Not sure if you saw the martigra varieties but definitely check them out the peppers are 4 different colors on one plant orange, yellow, light green, and even bright purple!

@tommy.1542 wow, no I did not see them. This one was sitting all by itself at the grocery store.

Just found this #purpleflashpepper #purpleflash at the grocery store. 😊

@Jenny10 I looked those up being I’m a pepperoholic. Mature they look allot like my Thai peppers. But I like the purple. I’m going to look into them. Way to hot to eat but great dried and use for pepper flake or sparingly to season a dish like they do in Thai restaurants. Key word is sparingly. 🌶 🔥.

@tkept yeah I know they are very hot and I probably wouldn't eat them, but I liked how it looked. Thought my husband might want to try them though. Do you have any tips on drying them? I would maybe use them like that.

@Jenny10 Drying them is very easy as they are small. I’ve strung and hung them with needle and thread. Leaving stem on. Also accidentally forgot some in a dish I had put back where I store seeds. That was in the fall. Found them the next very early spring and they were dry as a bone. I used some for pepper flakes and some I germinated in wet paper towel and zip bag method. Then planted seeds in potting soil under grow light around April 1st Planted them outside end of May. They did well. 😁

@tkept I may have to try that. So you just hang them in the sun?

@Jenny10 I just hung them inside. Winter here they would freeze and get snow covered. I also hung some in garage I keep it above 34F in there. 😁👍
Several months ago some bug took over my #purpleflashpepper and killed it in one day, and the pot it was in has just been sitting there. Well, some of the peppers must have fallen into the soil! 😍 I now have a few little seedlings!
#greatname -- I wonder whether the plant can live up to it LOL
