@jennlamaye https://learningherbs.com/remedies-recipes/freeze-aloe-vera-gel/

It totally makes sense! Thank you!

No. I don't care for it. 😊

No I haven't @jennlamaye but that's pretty cool

Ok, wait. Am I seeing these as the shape of aloe vera leaves?!?

I'm just in 💚 with this one!! #aloe can't wait to learn how to use and create with this plant. Haven't had an aloe since I was a kid.... got this in June, has almost doubled in size. ( I may have cut too soon and possible dehydration but she is growing so strong again) #loveyourplant. How do I know when I can cut them.... or should I be already? Kinda confused.. thanks☀️

@jenx1 my experience with Aloe in my area South Texas Border, it grows really quickly ! And I have to Shaded in summer from 3 digit temps ! And in case of frost! If any! from that too! My personal opinion is you should wait till you have a little more growth on it and what I mean is more plants growing from that main one before you start cutting! I cut mine as I needed for burns, scrapes, small cuts etc. You cut a leaf , slice it lengthwise and remove the pulp inside and that's what I use!

@happygardener2017 thank you so much! That was pretty much what I was thinking. My daughter wants to cut it for every little scrape she has. She is so excited about it too:) when the aloe's sisters start coming I have a feeling she's gonna be a big plant.

@jenx1n I hope my personal info will be useful! Someone else might have other ideas too! And also when you have more plants in that pot separate some and make new pots ! 😘 Have a great afternoon Jen !
Cute. Nice idea
