Beaucarnea recurvata although think name has changed to Nolina recurvata. Common name ponytail palm. Needs bright light but can tolerate low light if indoors. Rule of thumb was equal time spent outside to inside time. Care taken to make sure it doesn't get mealy or aphids if inside too long.
