This is my #iris Is it a seed? #iris-advice

terrimclaughlin
If it's an Iris I believe it's a bulb

joanboston
It is the seed head. I would take them off as they will sap the strength of the rhizome for next year

I agree with @JoanBoston

terrimclaughlin
joanboston is right. I forgot they have rhizomes and if you deadhead your Iris it'll help prevent seed heads. Deadheading through the growing season will help ur pot. to expend its energy & produce more flowers also storing more energy in their roots to produce bigger and more flowers next year.
