I planted this from seed an to be honest i dont have basil in my pack of seeds all my seeds i planted in my pots were flowers i dont have basil. Unless it was lable wrong when i bought the packages

Question does basil have a smell to it i cant explain it an have nothing to compare it to ive personally dont use basil unless its already in some type of seasoning im using. I know im probably missing out on something.

Basil has a strong pleasant fragrance. Pesto sauce is made with it and it's yummy😍.

If you go to a supermarket, at the fruit /veggie area, you will see Basil (and many other herbs), in little pots. Just brush the back of your fingers gently against them and you will smell and be able to identify them by their labels. Do this each time you go and it won't be long before you "know"... 😊

I see 2 kids. Bring them and let them smell too. Garden centers are even better as they often carry exotic herbs too

Help me identify this plant i planted this one an forgot what it was lol i thought it was the gardenia but not sure I usually lable my plants. But theres several that slipped my mind
