@pixierose nope. It’s a nice little compact grower though. Creating orchid hybrids is a whole other hobby. You need sterilized environments and perfect timing. Then you need years for them to develop. I’ve looked into it, but have never jumped on that ship. I’d be in trouble if I did lol
@jlsardina ah ok, yes I’ve done some research and it’s quite technical and like you say you need specialist equipment and conditions. I really, really would like to try one day though. Cross pollinating then is fun and when you get a seed pod it’s a great feeling. I thought about tracking someone down that would maybe be able to grow them on for me but I’m yet to get to that point. Can’t wait to see any new orchids you get. 😊🙏🏼
@sellmoon I am almost treating it like a phal! I am just giving it a little bit more light and making sure to mist the aerial roots daily. I may switch to growing it bare root after it has finished flowering though
Notice how the flowers whiten up with age? Fun to watch
I love how they bloom. So close up and next to each other. Really pretty!’👍🏻☺️🤗🙋♀️⭕️❌
Very pretty.
