These are my only tulips. These have come up for several years now, getting fewer each year. I have tried lots and in pots too but no joy #tulips (and yes that is sunshine)

They are very hit and miss aren’t they. Some of mine have done brilliantly this year but I have lost quite a few 💞💞💞

Tulips like good drainage and need to have a cold period. That s why you need to plant them in oktobre november. After flowering you take off the seedhead to make the bulb store the energy. But too be honest for me .... i just buy new bulbs every year, they are not very expensive over here. If you leave them in the ground; After a few years they do start to get old and deteriorate . But drainage is key. @joanboston @pelly
